All dancers auditioning for the 2012-13 season are required to attend P.U.S.H. summer audition intensive. Combinations taught during the intensive will be used for auditions on June 24th.

AUDITION INFORMATION

Masters offers competitive dance groups for all ages and levels of experience from ages 5 and up for new and current students.

ALL DANCERS ATTENDING THE INTENSIVE ARE REQUIRED TO AUDITION.

Intensive Attire:

Girls:

  • Hair secure and pulled away from face
  • Black dance top with black booty shorts or black leotard with black booty shorts.

Boys Attire:

  • Black shorts or pants with a black or white shirt.

Shoes:

  • Bring all dance shoes for the disciplines you are taking.

Keep in mind proper attire is part of your audition score as well. Results will be emailed to you within 2 weeks of audition time. You will receive an email with class times and other information. Upon completion of the audition, dancers who make the company will receive a company contract. The last page of the contract with the $40.00 registration fee will be due immediately following the audition to hold your spot for the upcoming season.

  • Black leotard and full pink tights for auditions with hair in a bun.

Boys:

  • Same as intensive.

Audition Levels:

  • Ages 5-6 Peewee Company *PLEASE CALL FOR AUDITION DATE FOR PEEWEE
  • Ages 6-7 Mini Company
  • Ages 7-9 Petite Company
  • Ages 9 and up Apprentice Companies (int-adv)
  • Ages 9 and up Superstars (advanced)

Mini Company – For Dancers ages 5-6 who have had at least one year of tap, ballet and jazz.  Minis attend 2-3 regional competitions a year and perform in the MUL Company Show in June.

Petite Company – For intermediate dancers ages 7-9 who train two days a week in tap, ballet and jazz. Petites attend 2-3 regional competitions a year and perform in the MUL Company Show in June.

Apprentice Companies – For intermediate advanced dancers age 9-13.  Apprentices train 4-5 hours a week in tap, ballet and jazz and attend 3 regional competitions a year.  These dancers also perform in the MUL Company Show in June.

Superstars – For advanced dancers ages 8 and up. Includes full competition and training program. Dancers train 5-15 hours a week depending on age and level in tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and leaps and turns.  Superstars attend 4-5 regional competitions a year plus a convention competition if applicable, and a national competition in late June or early July.  Superstars are eligible for solos, duos or trios in addition to group routines.  These dancers also participate in the MUL Company Show in June and community performances.
